Richard Meeking
Management

Richard joined CPC in late 2016. Richard has 20 years’ experience in corporate, strategic and financial roles, evaluating and executing strategic, value-adding business development initiatives, as well as generating insight and applying analytics across diverse sectors including, agriculture, natural resources and energy in both Chartered consulting and commercial environments.
Prior to joining CPC, Richard was with Grant Thornton as a senior manager in Corporate Finance during which he honed his Corporate Advisory and M&A credentials. He also brings extensive global financial experience in both retail and investment banking, having previously worked for J.P. Morgan Chase Manhattan Bank in London, and locally with Suncorp.
Richard designs and develops project management and leadership opportunities. Currently, at CPC, he is leading a data integration and supply chain project to provide greater efficiencies and transparency across the business and assist with planning and improved decision-making. His approach to efficient supply chain management is grounded in years of working in the oil and gas industry, where during his time at BG Group (now Shell) he worked closely with engineering teams to optimise the value chain, including upstream and midstream initiatives.
Richard’s role spans CPC’s sustainability initiatives, through the assessment and management of carbon abatement and emission reductions projects. This is an important area for CPC, and through these projects, CPC has increased the generation of carbon credits year-on-year and created another revenue stream for the business while building environmental credentials.
Richard’s formal qualifications include a Master of Applied Finance (Dux), Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Laws as well as being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
