In line with our mission statement we have set the following goals:
- To develop international recognition of the “wineglass brand” as being representative of “clean and green” cattle.
- To deliver livestock to the customer in the best possible condition and fulfilling the customer’s specifications while considering the welfare of livestock at all times.
- To realize the full potential of all staff and provide the opportunity of a rewarding career, in a workplace which has health and safety guidelines in place.
- To manage efficiently all of the companies natural and material resources and equipment, with particular consideration given to the environmentally sustainable use of all natural resources.
- To constantly invest in the development of staff, equipment and company growth to ensure we deliver owners with profits and associated returns.
To achieve these goals, we have in place the following progams:
- Quality assurance through the implementation of the Cattlecare scheme.
- Adherence to company protocols by staff for the handling and delivery of livestock.
- Continual genetic development of stock to suit customers needs whilst maintaining productive performance in the Northern Australia climate.
- Encouraging the career development of all staff by providing training, guidance and performance based rewards with strict adherence to all workplace health and safety guidelines.
- Long-term sustainable use of our land and waterways with continual investment in the development of the properties to ensure their viability for future generations.
- Specializing in large-scale, low cost production, through economies of scale, of grass fed beef cattle for the export meat trade and live cattle trade.
- Geographic diversification of cattle properties, which enables successful drought management, market flexibility and easy access to export markets.
- Diversification through expansion into meat processing and trading (in conjunction with Teys Bros), exporting (Austrex), and international rural management (GRM).
