Manbulloo

Strategically located near Teys Bros. Katherine abattoir, 3,864 sq km Manbulloo is used as a breeding property and a holding depot for slaughter cattle and younger stock being exported from Darwin.

A mix of black soil, red sandy soil and forest country, Manbulloo boasts 60 km frontage to the Katherine River and 150 km frontage to the King River. With a 1,000 mm annual average rainfall, the property is capable of carrying 20,000 head.

Previously owned by Vestys as a bullock depot for their Darwin meatworks, Manbulloo joined the Consolidated Pastoral Co holdings in 1994 as part of the transaction in a major share purchase of Consolidated Meat Group Pty Ltd.
