Sales & Logistics Manager

Aligning with their broader corporate strategy, this position has been created to ensure that
the whole of the supply chain operates as efficiently and robustly as possible. While the role
will have a diverse focus the three main areas of responsibility are building relationships
with Station Managers, improving transport efficiencies and ultimately gaining a superior
net margin on all domestic sales.
You will be an experienced Sales/Logistics Manager with a demonstrable history of
operating in a high change environment and implementing rigorous reporting and
processes. A knowledge of rural industry as well the ability to manage a complex
logistics business will ensure that you are able to add value in this unique role, in addition
to relishing the challenge of a growing business.

Financial Controller

Partnering closely with the CFO you will assist in developing strategies for future growth
and longer term corporate goals in a dynamic, ever changing environment.
This role will be critical in providing the structure and systems to ensure the business meets
all financial and management reporting requirements. Key deliverables will include
preparation of timely financial reports, quarterly forecasts, budgets and half yearly
operational reviews whilst providing a commercial outlook in all transactions.
As an energetic CA/CPA you will assist in driving financial performance and add value
through your commitment to quality, growth and change. This is an ideal role for a
talented, down to earth professional who is keen to build relationships with Station
Managers as well as the management, finance and executive teams.

2012 POSITIONS:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic staff to fill various positions within the company for the 2012 season. CPC is now inviting applications from suitable applicants for the following positions:
Auvergne Station (NT)
- Gardener/Handyperson: We are looking for a fit, motivated, practical person to maintain the lawns and station surrounds. Duties include watering, mowing & whipper snipping of lawns and gardens as well as spraying weeds, doing rubbish runs, store runs and carrying out general handy man jobs around the station.
- Leading Hand/3rd YEAR: Capable energetic stockperson required to work within the stockcamp Will be required to assist with all aspects of stock work and general station maintenance. Good communication skills along with strong horse, bike and cattle handling skills are required as well as the ability to lead by example.
Mimong Station (QLD)
- Station hand: We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident stockperson to join the Mimong team. The position involves mustering using motorbikes, handling & processing cattle as well as fencing and general station maintenance. The position requires someone who enjoys working as part of a small team, is ready to take on some responsibility and is competent operating 2 and 4 wheeler motorbikes. Start mid February.
Newcastle Waters Station (NT)
- Senior Head Stockperson: This position would suit a head stockperson with good communication skills, strong horse and cattle handling skills as well as general station experience. We are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in developing their management skills and build on their career. A remuneration package will be negotiated dependent upon experience.
- Station Road Train Driver: Capable, easygoing person required to operate an air conditioned 1985 Mack superliner used for interstation work, pulling 4 decks as well as side tippers and 3 flat tops. Mechanical knowledge and prior experience with a range of machinery would be a distinct advantage. Single accom only.
- Leading Hand for the Weaner Camp: Capable energetic stockperson required to run a Weaner camp consisting of 6 people. Will be required to assist with all aspects of stock work and general station maintenance. Good communication skills along with strong horse, bike and cattle handling skills are required as well as the ability to lead by example.
- Bore Runner: We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person to carry out extensive bore runs, monitor and maintain cattle watering points and assist with general station maintenance. Mechanical knowledge is essential. Single male accom available.
- Plant Operator: Plant operator required to operate and maintain heavy machinery and assist with general station maintenance. Mechanical knowledge and experience with a range of machinery would be an advantage. Start early May. For more info pls contact Angus on 08 89644527.
Newry Station
- Station/Stockcamp Cook: We require a capable, enthusiastic person to plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals for 8-10 people. Duties include all aspects of station cooking with a few weeks spent camped out cooking for the Stock camp. Must be clean and tidy and have good time management skills.
Wrotham Park Station (QLD)
- Jillaroo: We are looking for an energetic Jillaroo/ Station Hand. The position involves mustering, processing and quietly handling cattle along with fencing and general station maintenance. The position requires someone who is a confident horse rider, Cattle husbandry skills is an advantage. Must be willing to learn and who enjoys working as part of a large team.
- Stockcamp Leading Hand: We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic person to join the Wrotham team. The position requires someone with station experience, good communication skills, strong horse and cattle handling skills and experience handling large numbers of cattle. Previous preg testing and/or speying experience would be a definite advantage. This position would suit a motivated person looking to build on their skills and move forward in the industry.
